      Hi!

Wondering if anyone can help me on a question or two I have about implementing web stories on a site.

I write for a news/media site on entertainment/celebrities and I’m just getting the hang of what web stories are/how they work. I’ll be creating my first one soon and I want to make sure I’m understanding the “rules” correctly.

Let’s say you’re writing a web story on a celebrity… what is the best practice in regards to sourcing images? Do they have to be original or stock images or can you get by using pictures found on Google? I’m not finding much information on this. Anyone familiar with celeb based web stories?

      Thank you in advance!

      Original is ideal.
Stock image fine if you have adequate permission. If found on Google you can run into copyright images.
One presenter we had in the Pro Community Call (https://community.nichepursuits.com/) suggested to use an AI generator such as Midjourney to create an illustration of that celebrity.

If you want more Google Discover tips we have a dedicated discord channel and 3, 1 hour call recordings about Google Discover. We have more on the way 🙂

Thank you so much! I watched the first two Google Discover calls, excellent info in both. I wasn’t able to hop onto the live one today but I can’t wait to check it out when it uploads to the site.

Wow, AI is an excellent idea! Idk why that didn’t occur to me. Is there a particular AI program you recommend? There’s so many out there ☺️

Ah, I didn’t realize you were a part of the community already! AI tool that was recommended: https://www.midjourney.com/
I’ve used it myself with some success but haven’t used others. Creating good prompts for these AI tools is a task in itself.

Are you in our Discord yet? I’m VERY active there and more community members are as well.

I just joined the Discord yesterday and was taking a peek around! I’m used more so used to Slack so getting my bearingson how Discord works before jumping in but I’ll definitely be on there.

Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll be taking a look at Midjourney. My only concern is photo sizing and if it can give me the appropriate sizes. I’m more so a writer so editing photos and all that it entails, isn’t really my cup of tea lol

Got it! I’ve used it several times, but by no means a pro. I bet there are a few power users in the discord!
